On Earth Day, April 23rd and 24th, 2011 you're invited to meet us in the park for an adventure like you've never had before. Search for hidden QR tags, scan them with your web-enabled phone and discover how to help to keep our planet healthy. This is a FREE family friendly event.
Enjoy a day in Robert Burnaby Park and learn about local park history, facilities, activities and our fragile eco-systems.


CODE GREEN: Not Your Average Walk in the Park

Technology meets hunter-gatherer in this
QR and Geo-location race against the clock. Hunt to reveal info/tidbits about the diverse activities, local history and fragile eco-systems of our green-spaces.

Primary Objective: Fun
Clearances: All age’s - Suitable for families
Requirements: Moderate physical health
Supplies: comfortable shoes, weather protection, water bottle.

Hidden Agenda: Promote responsible use of green-space, create awareness for QR Meet-up, Metro Vancouver’s Zero Waste Challenge and Projecting Change Film Festival

Mission: Locate and scan QR code with web-enabled phone, learn interesting facts about our parks and commune with nature as you advance through course.

Bonus: Acquire additional points for collecting photos select species from most wanted list, arriving via public transit, bicycle or on foot.
